I am so excited to be covering Cocktails with Claire Sulmers & Miss Diddy this weekend, here in Atlanta! These girls are doing big things, and they have been for awhile now. Sulmers, who is a Harvard graduate, and is fluent in French, has an AMAZING resume. You can read it here. Miss Diddy is equally impressive, a self made woman, who happens to be the ONLY woman party promoter in Hollywood. She is also a Hennessy (my favorite drink) Key Account Manager.
And while these ladies live two different lives on two different coasts, they both have one very important thing in common–fashion. They are INCREDIBLY fashionable.
Episode 3 of WE TV’s Cutting it in the ATL aired last week, and I think it’s fair to say that most of the girls have no idea what Mushiya is doing. Staring at my TV screen, I have to admit, I kinda feel the same way. Just what in the natural hair hell has Mushiya got up her tasseled sleeve?
Wow. After weeks of internet buzz and built up anticipation, I was finally able to sit down and see this movie for myself. Last night, I joined some of Atlanta’s movers and shakers as we kicked back and enjoyed this awesome film. I’ll be the first to admit that it takes a lot to impress me, but after last night, I was moved. This film definitely lives up to its name.
Like many people, you’ve probably been wondering where Musiq Soulchild has been. Time and time again, since he stepped on the scene back in 2000 with his classic album Aijuswanaseing, the Philly native has delivered nothing but hits. Smooth, and pleasing to the ear, his music has always been so relatable, leaving a lasting impression with REAL music lovers all over the world. Now, the entertainer is trying something new. He’s switching things up. He’s reemerged as something none of us were expecting…a Hip Hop artist called “The Husel.”
