Chris Brown, Soulja Boy, Violence, and How Social Media Ruined Celebrity

The great prophet Puff Daddy P. Diddy Sean Combs warned us back in 2009 of theĀ b*tchassness epidemic sweeping the nation-unfortunately, none of us took him seriously. Almost a decade later, here we are, glued to our phones, watching Chris Brown and Soulja Boy threaten each other across the interwebs. In our defense, who among us could’ve ever predicted n*ggas would take it this far? We’re sorry, Puff.

I love Mary J Blige. She is the “Queen of Hip Hop Soul,” the title bestowed upon her by Sean “Puffy” “Puff” “Diddy” “P. Diddy” Combs, himself. Growing up in the mean streets of Yonkers, New York, Mary has always had a little edge-but that’s why we love her. She’s genuine. She’s relatable. And she makes good music.

Hip Hop. Women. And Feminism.

“Some think that we can’t flow. Stereotypes, they got to go.” -Queen Latifah

I don’t remember when I was first exposed to Hip Hop. But I do know that I’ve always loved it. And while I’m a huge fan of Biggie, Tupac, Outkast, and Mobb Deep, nothing made me fall in love with Hip Hop more than knowing that women were using a platform-historically dominated by men-to get their points across.

Diddy Says Voting is a “Scam”

Diddy Develops Sitcom Based on Former Assistant

diddy2

What doesn’t Diddy do? He makes us dance uncontrollably, he puts clothes on our backs, vodka in our cups, and motivational quotes on our social media feeds. According to Rolling Stone, Mr. Combs is in the process of developing a sitcom called ‘The Hustle’, based on the life of his former assistant.

Take That. Take That. Diddy Sues BET

diddy

We were all having so much fun. The highly anticipated Bad Boy Reunion popped off, and we all took a much needed trip down memory lane together thanks to the BET Awards. I was Diddy boppin’ across my living room floor and doing the Tootsie Roll when Puffy took a mean fall into the same trap door that Lil Kim rose up out of like a Phoenix.

Lil Kim Has a New Reality Show & Dammit, I’m GLAD

kimbomb

I really love Lil’ Kim. Like, a lot. It broke my heart when she started changing her face, and adding body parts and such. It hurt even more when Nicki Minaj came on the scene and everybody started acting like Lil’ Kim didn’t exist. Let’s be clear.
