Cardi B is an icon. There, I said it. Her ascent to fame has stirred much debate, particularly over the last year. A diamond in the rough placed under extreme pressure in the Bronx, Cardi B has always been about her SHMONEY, and who can blame her? A product of humble beginnings, she admits she was often at odds with her parents, meaning she had to find a way, or make one-and boy, did she ever.
There’s nothing like a good comeback story. We live for them. When Michael Jordan came back wearing the 4-5, we celebrated-Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott, Paula Abdul (for that brief moment in American Idol history), we just can’t get enough. America absolutely LIVES for a good comeback story. And who can blame us? There’s nothing like seeing a celeb who you thought was on their very last leg, come back doing the Heisman on those h*es.THAT my friends, is why this Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna engagement is oh, so delightful. Well, that’s one of the reasons.
It’s been 6 years since Amber Rose and Kanye West have been romantically involved, but it’s crystal clear that Kanye is still traumatized by the breakup. I mean, he hasn’t smiled since-and I guess making all of that sad (but FIRE) music just didn’t get rid of the heartache. As we’ve all witnessed countless times before, Kanye just isn’t equipped to deal with his emotions in a civilized way. So, as expected, he did what a lot of men do when their egos are on the line–reduce women to their sexuality.
I can’t stop laughing. This video truly is entertaining. As I mentioned a while ago, Amber Rose, the socialite that everybody loves to hate is hosting a Slut Walk next month, and people are up in arms. Personally, I love the idea, and think it’s fascinating to see people focus so much on the name of the event, while completely ignoring the message. But anywho…Amber AKA “Muva Rosebud” released her promo video for the walk yesterday, and I cannot stop cackling!
Amber Rose has been called her share of the “S” word. You know? SLUT. That four letter word that no woman ever really wants to be called. But you see, Amber, who has a reputation for taking life by the horns and riding that motherf*cker til the wheels fall off, is taking the “S” word back. She’s standing up for women’s rights and speaking out against rape culture with her upcoming Slut Walk scheduled for October 3rd.
I like the internet. Nothing keeps me entertained like the interwebs on any given day. From hot topics, to celebrity gossip, and just downright foolery, you are guaranteed to get whatever it is that you’re looking for on the internet daily. But one thing I’ve noticed about social media is that it can get reeeallly superficial. And essentially, I’d be willing to bet that it’s kinda ruining our psyche.
On last night’s episode of E!’s new show Good Work, Muva Rose made a special guest appearance. She wanted to prove to the world that the wagon she’s draggin’ is in fact REAL. And who better to be the judge than QUEEN Ru Paul? After a few jiggles, Ru Paul confirmed that her bottom is the real thing INDEED!
So, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Amber Rose’s booty has dimples in it. Apparently social media users are NOT happy about it, either. Everyone’s been blasting Amber, saying she ain’t what she “Post to Be”…but I feel like that’s just something we’ve all come to accept in Instagramland. Check out this pic and tell me what you think. Are people making much ado about nothing, or do people need to chill on the filters?
Here’s Amber’s response:
Thoughts? Are people trying to body shame Muva Rose, or are we ALL ashamed of the way we look? (hence the filters & alleged photoshop)
I’m gonna tell you like this: Stretch marks and cellulite are a part of life when you have a big butt, thighs, or ANYTHING. I’ve learned to embrace my flaws. It’s taken a while, but I did it!
