Remove Money From the ATM With Your Eyes-Yep, You Read That Right!

Well these people are really getting good with this whole technology thing, aren’t they? Now, if you bank with CitiBank, you can withdraw money from your account by just scanning your eyes at the ATM. Diebold, a biometric technology company, has teamed up with CitiBank to introduce their new eye-scanning ATMs, and apparently it’s really easy and convenient! The machine is called “Irving” and is actually nicknamed “the headless ATM”, paying subtle homage to Washington Irving, the author of Sleepy Hollow.

A New Petition to Remove Don Lemon From His Position Garners Over 15,000 Signatures

Bye Bye Don! This news actually made my morning. Don “Uncle Ruckus” Lemon has finally reached peak Uncle Tom, and the American people are TIRED. After his reprehensible remarks regarding the Spring Valley High School Assault, most of us have come to the conclusion that Don just isn’t a real journalist. His inability to dig deeper and really analyze current events and draw reasonable conclusions has proven that he is unfit to be a CNN anchor, and we, the people, have received an early Christmas present.

Russell Simmon’s “Rush Card” Leaving People Abandoned & Moneyless

Oh, the scandal. Remember when we first started seeing commercials for the “RushCard” a few years ago? Yea, well I didn’t necessarily think it was a good idea back then, either. Initiatives like these typically make me cringe any time I see or hear about them. I get the same weird feeling when I see Payday Loan places lining the streets of most underserved communities. This wasn’t a violent protest, this protest didn’t result in dead bodies, property damage or anything of the like. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Positive people of color in abundance–a sea of brown as far as far as the eye could see. Yet, the media coverage was scarce. Why is that?

POTUS Responds to Ahmed Mohamed Incident Like the Class Act He Is

Via Vox:

On Monday, teachers at the Irving Independent School District in Irving, Texas, had police arrest a 14-year-old student named Ahmed Mohamed for bringing to school a simple electronic clock he had built as an engineering project. Police escorted Mohamed out of school in handcuffs — photos of the arrest show him wearing a NASA T-shirt — and accused him of trying to build a bomb.
