Vinnie Myers is a tattoo artist. But he isn’t just ANY tattoo artist. He’s special. And I’m not just saying that. I really mean it.
A man in Chesapeake, VA is making the news after posting an adorable picture of his son to Facebook. The picture shows his son making the cutest face while trying on his Halloween costume…which just so happens to be a blue princess dress.
Earlier this week, I came across the cutest video of a little baby professing her love for Serena Williams, while simultaneously telling the world how much they had in common. It was the greatest thing. And now that her super cute video has gone viral, she’s landed some tickets to the U.S. Open, along with a gift package, courtesy of Serena Williams herself!
The highly anticipated biopic “Straight Outta Compton” hits theaters this Friday, but prior to its release, Dr. Dre dropped an album by the name of “Compton”, pretty much outta nowhere. This is the NWA member’s first album in 16 years. After talking to Compton Mayor, Aja Brown about ways he can give back, Dre decided to donate the royalties from his album to a good cause.
The media rarely reports the good stuff celebs do. The only things I knew about rapper Big Sean before is that he dated Ariana Grande, that the “Big” in his name is funny, and that he’s “way up” and feels “blessed.” But now, thanks to recent reports, I’ve learned that Big Sean actually has a nonprofit called The Sean Anderson Foundation. A week ago, the rapper made good on his promise to a bunch of teens in Detroit to build a recording studio if they raised their ACT scores. And just like that…scores went up.
The reaction…somebody cutting onions around here? *sniffs*
I don’t know how many of you can say that you love your bosses, but let me tell you friends…loving your boss is a rare thing…a rare thing, indeed. Most people complain of their bosses being super demanding, overbearing, inflexible, and incompetent. However, the people over at Gravity Payments do NOT have those complaints. Actually, it’s likely that they will never complain about their boss again. Dan Price, the 30 year old CEO of Gravity is seeking to confront income inequality in America by offering his employees a minimum of $70,000 a year. Can we say…BOSS OF THE CENTURY? I must say, I really respect this guy. This is an amazing story. It’s nice to see a boss that actually CARES about his employees. What most people don’t understand is, when you’re nice to your employees, they’re more productive, and in turn your business will flourish. Way to go Dan!
For those of you who missed this story, I am super excited to share it with you. A few weeks ago, a stomach turning post hit the internet and took on a life of its own. A person who apparently could use a few hugs posted this image on the messageboard 4chan:
“Spotted this specimen trying to dance. He stopped when he saw us laughing.”
This story really warmed my heart. I’m glad to know that there are people out there who still have compassion for others. Check out this awesome story below!
