BYU Bans Man Buns

LOL. This really tickles my fancy. I mean, I hate man buns too, but DAMN Brigham Young, was it really necessary to BAN the buns?

I get it, fake man buns can be pretty annoying. I mean, hey-do what you want with your locs (or lack therof), but at the end of the day-I ain’t gotta like it.

This new fake man bun trend has really gotten out of control, but I think BYU is completely overreacting by placing a ban on the hair “accessory.” Come on, why ruin all of the fun we’ll have pointing and laughing at these guys?  BYU, you are truly some party poopers! But what’s new? Being a party pooper is kinda your thing.

In a statement, BYU Idaho announced students will be met with disciplinary action should they wear the hairstyle.

According to their Student Honour Office, hair “should be clean and neat, avoiding extreme styles and unnatural colors.”

Tyler Barton, Student Honour administrator told the university paper: “We would consider the ‘man-bun’ to be an extreme hairstyle. It’s just something that deviates from the norm.”

Oh, so I guess all Mormons are super normal, huh? K. Well, if you guys say so! Tell me, what say YOU about the fake man bun? Yay or nay?
