Bobbi Kristina, The Daughter of Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown Dies at the Age of 22

It’s with a very heavy heart that I must report Bobbi Kristina, daughter of legendary singer Whitney Houston has passed. After months of fighting for her life, Bobbi Kristina is finally being laid to rest.

The 22-year-old died last night at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia. She was moved there a month ago from a rehabilitation center where she stayed for about two months.

Via ET Online:

“She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” the Houston family said in statement to ET. “We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

Circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s death are still very sketchy. The young star was found unconscious in her Roswell, GA home back on January 31st. The details of Bobbi’s death are eerily similar to those of her mother Whitney Houston’s death. They were both found in bathtubs after apparent drug overdoses.

Though a drug overdose has been attributed to Bobbi Kristina’s death, Bobby Brown and many others still don’t feel they have all the answers they need. Many blame Nick Gordon, BK’s troubled boyfriend for her demise.

Thing were never really that great between nick and the Brown family. Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Pat Houston, took out a restraining order on Gordon a year ago, and the year before that, (2013) her grandmother, Cissy Houston, wrote an open letter to Bobbi Kristina, telling her to wait to get married because “I think you’re too young.”

According to People, however, sources say that Gordon is devastated over the loss of his girlfriend.

“Nick is very upset,” the source says. “You can say what you want about him and Bobbi Kristina, but he really did love her very much, and is devastated that she is gone.”

Bobbi Kristina was very close to her mother. It was very clear how much they loved each other.

“She brings me a lot of joy,” Houston told ET back in 1993. “She brings both Bobby and I a lot of joy. It’s a different thing when you become a mother. It changes your whole perspective on life. You really don’t live for you anymore. You’re living for your children.”

The question is, did the pain of losing her mother contribute to Bobbi’s demise? Was it simply too much to handle? I think that’s feasible. Undoubtedly, this story is one of the most tragic we’ve heard this year. Sending love to BK and Whitney’s loved ones during this very rough time.
