Known as "the man with the golden voice," Williams strongly supports the protests and is one example of the many celebrities that make their way through the park unannounced on a nearly daily basis. There a few good things about America. One of them being that a former homeless man could decide to run for President, and perhaps even WIN. Back in 2011, the world was first introduced to Ted Williams via a video posted by The Columbus Dispatch. The video, which put Williams’ “golden voice” on display,  led to national television appearances and earned Williams numerous voice-over jobs.

Now, four years later, Williams is announcing his plans to run for President. Williams made the announcement on Scott Spears’ “Now” radio program on WWGH-FM in Marion.

Williams says he will be running as an Independent and will focus on fair housing, veterans’ issues, jobs and improving schools.

Sounds like a plan. The man just might get my vote!
