So of course when I got an invite to a screening of the much anticipated film, San Andreas, I was more than thrilled. I’d been dying to see a new movie, and naturally, I’m always down to look at “The Rock” for a few hours. But I have to say, the movie was not what I expected at all.
So I sat in my seat, and powered my phone down. (Warner Brothers was playing NO games when it came to the possibility of someone recording the movie, which by the way, is a Federal offense) At first, I was sitting alone, but ran into a couple of blogger friends, and decided to sit with them.
As the movie began, we were instructed to put on our 3D glasses. At that point, I was ready for some crazy sh*t to go down…and it did. Can I just say that this movie is one of the best movies I’ve seen this year??
Action packed. Suspenseful. Emotional. Powerful. Incredible. Shocking. Endearing. So. Many. Adjectives.
This movie is the definition of an “on the edge of your seat” kinda film. Now, I have to admit, some moments were truly unbelievable…and everyone kinda looked at each other like…
But before we could really analyze it, we were sucked into another amazing natural disaster and we forgot all about the BS we saw two seconds ago. All in all, I would certainly recommend this film to any and everybody, but just 3 precautions:
1. If you have a bad heart, take your medicine.
2. You may be distracted from the plot by all the hot actors and actresses.
3. You’ll never want to live in California. Like, ever.
San Andreas hits theaters on May 29th. Go see it!
